    The Wisconsin Fieldhouse is home to the University of Wisconsin's State Wrestling tournament and was the home to the University of Wisconsin's NCAA Basketball and volleyball teams, the Badgers until 1998. The stadium opened in 1930 after a little over a year of construction with initial construction costs of $434,000. The stadium has a current seating capacity of up to 10,600 people and is located in Madison, Wisconsin. The athletic facility hosted a variety of the University's popular events until newer facilities were completed. The stadium features a center hung scoreboard as well as restrooms available on site. The facility is nicknamed the UW Fieldhouse.
