Joe W. Davis StadiumHunstville Stars

3125 Leeman Ferry Road, Huntsville, AL, 35801
“The Joe” was built for the Minor League baseball team of Southern League Huntsville stars and is also a multi-purpose facility. Officially known as the Joe W. Davis Stadium, it was constructed in 1985 and saw a major renovation which took place from 2004-2007. The multi-purpose stadium can seat 10,488 fans and even has 15 skyboxes which are air conditioned. However, the crowning glory of the stadium was when it was constructed and was nicknamed as the crown jewel for the Southern League for which it was built. It is still valued as being the oldest stadium holding league games. Today the jewel is sparkling with recent additions of a LED scoreboard and a videoboard which were installed in 2004.
