    The Jackie Robinson Ballpark is the current home to the Florida State League's minor league team, the Daytona Cubs as well as the Bethune Cookman University's baseball team, the Wildcats. The stadium opened in 1914 after just a few months of construction and it has been renovated several times. The ballparkā€™s grandstand was added in 1921. The ballpark is located in Daytona Beach, Florida and the field features a natural grass playing surface. The stadium is named in honor of the first African American MLB player, Jackie Robinson and there is a statue in honor of him outside of the ballpark.
