Bell CentreMontreal Canadiens
1909 Avenue de Canadiens-de-Mont, Montreal, QC, H3B 5
The Bell Centre is home to the NHL's Montreal Canadians. It opened in 1996 with construction costs of $270 million Canadian dollars. The stadium has seating for up to 21,273 when hosting hockey games. It also hosts popular concerts and basketball games. The stadium is home to four large restaurants for fans to enjoy. Bell Centre and TD Garden are the only NHL arenas left to still have an old-school siren sounding off at the end of a period. The stadium added a new scoreboard in 2008 which is one of the largest scoreboards of the NHL. Every year more than 1.5 million people come to Bell Centre for sporting games and concerts. Smoking within the facility is not permitted.
