Let me start off by saying I'm from Chicago, so I'm weighing in on the Nashville experience against the high standards set by the Blackhawks at the United Center.
The arena is very nice and quite large. Concessions are priced about average, but the ticket prices were EXTREMELY CHEAP compared to other stadiums. And the eats were great!
Parking wasn't ideal, as there really isn't a true parking lot used for the arena; you are forced to use a nearby parking ramp, ours was about a 15 minute walk. That wasn't so bad as you get to walk through down town Nashville and take in the bar scene, music scene and check out the cowboy hats on your way to the rink.
For my taste, the atmosphere had a "minor-league" feel to it. Very quiet during games, not like some of the NHL arenas I've visited.
All in all, I liked the stadium and the view we had. But give me my Blackhawks or bust! -- T.J. Chicago --
